Symbols of Faith

The busy ant has faith. He works hard. He doesn't ask why he is here.

Humans like to ask questions. Why are we here? But we invest in our children because we have faith in the future.

People without faith do not want to invest in children. The think the faith others possess is blind faith, misplaced trust.

Perhaps it is, there is no future, all is for nothing. The ant works and procreates because he has faith. Blind to questions, he does not ask why. Yet knowing all he needs to know because he is fully guided by his genetic code.

When those who bear one religious symbol choose to invest in battle against those who bear another religious symbol, should we condemn faith itself? Better that we look beyond symbols for faith. We can learn from the faithful ant.
