Amid a successful career as a doctor, Dorian Paskowitz walked away from it all to seek enlightenment. As monks search for wisdom and a philosophy of life, they often go through a period of getting in touch with their inner animal. Dorian Paskowitz saw that animal as the center of health and life itself. He chose to bring forth the animal into his daily life, embracing it as the part of us which is truly alive.
